1961 ES-125 TCD Cherry Sunburst two P90, 100% original code GI89
A very early & quite rare version of Gibson ES-125TCD which replaced the older 50’s ES-225 models. Neck angle is good and action is good. No buzz or issues. A nice and light and resonant example with superb tone and playability. Its introduction year was 1960 & was offered in a Tobacco’burst or this lovely nicely vivid color in a wonderful cherry burst finish. Its 2 black P-90 pickups are sensational & have balls to the walls clarity in which George Thorogood got his famous “Bad to the Bone” rockin-boogie tone from. Its dot inlaid unbound rosewood neck is super wide & flat like a killer period 335. Very good frest ready to play. Comes in a nice generic hard case.
