1955 Slab Mahogany Body 2P90, EX code GI12
All original, no mods, breaks or repairs. the rubber of the guitar stand stuck
behind the headstock, but the paint in the area was removed and polished.
Reistalled original tuners. Controls and wiring are clean, no scratchy pots.
Beautiful Sunburst finish. Solid slab body and mahagony neck without vulute,
medium C profile, MOP inlaid "Gibson" badge on headstock. Bound rosewood
fretboard, 22 frets, 24.5" scale, MOP dot inlays. "Gibson Deluxe" (Kluson)

It's in very good condition for its age, with low play wear. Frets are original
and in great shape, and the two original P-90 pickups have outputs of
approximately 7.8K + 8.0K. This is a rare early version with just the
wrap-around tailpiece/bridge, (later versions have a standard Tunematic bridge).
Action is low, no buzzing, and the stop tail bridge is perfectly intonated. All
in all a beautiful player. The body is a solid, single, gorgeous slab of wood,
no joints, no seams. Original Gibson hardshell case.
