From the Genius of Wandrè this transportable folding bass. Wandrè, stage name of Antonio Pioli (Cavriago Italy, 6 June 1926 – 2004), was an Italian aeronautical engineer and luthier. Manufacturer of instruments held by some of the most famous musicians in the world, such as Frank Zappa, Ace Frehley, or by the Italians Adriano Celentano, Nomadi, Francesco Guccini, Wandrè has acquired notoriety thanks to his extremely artistic way of working, which has led him to design guitars with bright colors or bizarre shapes. Bob Dylan himself spoke of a Wandrè in 1965 as a guitar "never seen in the United States".
