National is known for its resonator guitars, but some flattop were also produced. However, they could not prevail against the competition of Gibson and Martin and therefore this N-710 was built only for a year and a half and is consequently rare to find. Zero fret playing low action no sore fingers with this one.. The Solid Spruce top is still nice and flat. The back and sides are Mahogany and its even X-braced. A very high quality guitar for back in the 1960's that wasn't a Gibson or Martin. The sound of this guitar is fantastic. A very even voice that is quite loud and sounds more like my vintage Gibsons then Martins. Not too bassy and not thin at all. Check out the adjustable bridge on this guitar. It is very fancy and looks great. Come with Hard Case
