1985 GUILD BRIAN MAY, 1° Edition, Quilted Maple Top,Very Rare, Only 365 of these guitars were made. This is one off for Namm Show. What makes this guitar a very rare piece is the fact that it has an optional quilted maple top. This option was only available on guitars from the first series. As far as I know only a very small number of these guitars came with the quilted maple top.The guitar has a super lightweight one-piece Honduran mahogony body, with a quilted maple top, mahogony neck and an ebony fretboard. The tremolo is a Floyd Rose locking tremolo made by Kahler. The pickups are DiMarzio Brain May Signature.The three pickups are single coils with the option to make them humbuckers depending on the combination. About the switches: each pickup has an on-off switch, and one coil tap switch. Furthermore, there is a tone and a volume pot.
